Subject: Charming
This copy has too much digitial compression.

Still, I found this to be a very charming television episode. Interesting how the song "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah" was featured.

Subject: A Great Find
Having grown up in Chicago and still living here I remember Marshall Field's fondly and seeing this program brings back memories of the great window displays at Christmas that featured Uncle Mistletoe.

Subject: Reuniting with an old friend
Thanks so much for posting the Adventures of Uncle Mistletoe. I knew Jennifer Holt (Aunt Judy) very well in her later years. She was a lovely lady with a lovely voice which did not get the proper exposure in the B westerns she did. She was always very proud of the Peabody Award that she received in 1950 for having the most popular children's show at that time. In fact, she was the prototype of Fran Allison's character on Kula Fran and Ollie. Watching that old kinescope of her singing and blowing a kiss to the audience reminds me of how much I still miss her. Thanks again. Mike Newton aka "Scorpio" that was our nickname for each other as we were both born in November.
